I can blank the screen and go forward and backward. With this presenter in hand I can "work the room" and stay focused on the crowd. The USB thumb-drive-like wireless link sets inside the end of the device when not in use and there is a nice little soft case to keep it cozy in my computer bag.
Used to use my long wired remote mouse but still had to wander back to the laptop and take my eye and attention off the audience. It has a laser pointer and a timer that lets me know on a buzz setting (or stun, as I like to say). I learned about this wireless tool as I watched a presentation just before mine.
I consider it an invaluable part of my presentation tool kit. And it's small so it fits in the palm of my hand still allowing me freedom to gesture as needed. I asked her if I could borrow it for my own presentation and shazam, I was free from the tether.
Yes, it does what the others doadvance slides, etc. But the added feature of volume control really is special. I've used other cordless presenters, but this one has it all. With the Logitech Cordless Presenter, youl control the volume at your fingertipswithout having to run up to the mixer board to frantically turn the volume up or down. Many times, video that is imbedded into a PowerPoint can have varying levels of volume. I'm planing to buy two more for our departmentI like it that much.
This product is fabulous. I love it. It is so convenient and works like a charm everytime. I use the laser pointer to highlight important points in my powerpoint presentations.
We would recommend this product to anyone needing a presentation remote with this range. Further it gives us the ability to move around our sanctuary during a presentation because of its range. The remote has enhanced our ability to do presentations because of its smooth and reliable button action. The display is clear and readable and knowing the battery strngth is a big advantage.
The buttons and functions of each buttons are ergonometrically configured on the unit and offer the perfect set of options presenters need; this even has one that "blacks" the screen so you could hold a brief discussion without the distraction of having something on the screen. Furthermore, determining the function of each button is instantaneous.more so than other wireless presenters I have used in the past where you have to determine the functions of the buttons by "trial and error".not a good thing for a presenter. I make frequent presentations during a month, often times even one presentation a week, so having a practical wireless presenter is very important. Ease of use is top for this unit.I wouldn't make a presentation without it.
