Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3200 Laser Reviews
nice product. The keyboard and mouse works just fine. the mouse is well designed and is comfortable. the keyboard has soft keys and also firm.
One unfortunate design decision was to leave off the context menu key which I rely on heavily for efficient work in PowerPoint. Also, the "zoom" slider on the left is troublesome. I often accidentally brush against it find myself staring at 80 pt font on the screen. The mouse is OK, but I would not buy this set again or recommend it to anyone. So handy to keep me from starting Excel or hunting through windows menus to find the calc program.
Also, minor but annoying: CDMA phones will interfere with the wireless link on occasion. Small plus - a dedicated calculator key. I don't even type on it that much, but after a year of light use, the keys have almost become impossible to press down. The keyboard wore out too quickly. There is a two key substitute (Fn+PrintScreen), but this workaround is highly inefficient as it's hard to hit those two keys reliably when touch typing.
This severely aggravates my typing tendonitis.
The mouse works perfect but the keyboard 100% useless I ended up buying a cheapo $5 Labtec keyboard and it works perfect. (Not connecting issues). I have always been a fan of logitech however this MX3200 setup the keyboard is malfunctioning and has power issues. As for keyboards a Labtec for $5 will do just fine.
Logitech has lost one valuable customer cause I am disgusted with their poor customer support. Only Japanese Made, American quality has never disappointed me before but now I am only buying Japanese products. I live in the Caribbean so I have no warranty and cannot send it back to Amazon so when we down here buy something it must be very good. Their online forum is also a joke.
Hence the reason I have decided to start buying only SONY Products from now on. Maby cause China producing cheaper more inferior parts now who knows but Logitech should be ashamed.
3 fortnights later, I still got wood. I tell you I could never part with my wireless Logitech. The office sk anks respond very well to it.
And, the pant ies come off, very nicely. They flock to it like the salmon to the Capistron. And, when you got some chick who, unbeknownst to you, is having a not so fresh day, why you can use the mouse as a but plug to eliminate any unsavory odors.
Very light, user friendly, works great, and looks sheek. Why, my best friend Raul purchased this last month and now he tells me he's starting to chafe on his peter. I purchased this 3 fortnights hence.
Maybe by the time it gets here, I will decide to keep using the MX3200, but at least I'll have a choice. Since I didn't see one and wasn't sure if the red connect button on the bottom was also the ON/OFF switch, I called Logitech Support and was told that it is not necessary to turn off the mouse as it "goes to sleep" to save the batteries when you are not using it. There was no need to push the connect buttons on the keyboard or mouse, and I haven't even bothered to install the SetPoint disc. I guess I won't know if that's true until I see how long the batteries last. I would rather have a rechargeable mouse like the one with the LX700 because the original battery pack in it is still good after 3 1/2 years of use. After 3 1/2 years the keyboard will no longer stay connected to the receiver for more than a few minutes, and nothing they suggested could fix the problem. Logitech sent me this MX3200 as a replacement for my LX700 that is still under warranty but no longer available.
It says on the box that the mouse has an ON/OFF switch, so I was expecting it to have a separate switch or button on the side somewhere. The only complaints I have are that the left-hand scroll bar doesn't work as well as the one on the LX700, and the email button won't open my IncrediMail for some reason - I never had that problem with the LX700. The keyboard is really comfortable and easy to type on - even better than the LX700 keyboard, but I have also purchased a refurbished LX700 on ebay and am waiting for it to arrive. The MX3200 keyboard and mouse were already pre-connected, so all I had to do was plug in the receiver. Can someone tell me how to turn it off.
