It is sleek and the wire folds around the mouse in a groove, so its easy to transport. For the price, this is one of the best devices you can get. Simple, reliable, effective solution for those who cannot use the touch pad or trackpoint ball on laptops.
PS As I am writing this it has started working again, LOL. Not for long I would think. Would have gotten 5 stars if it was more durable. I've gone through three of them in two years.should I get another. I alternate wrapping the cord both ways.#3 still failed after 6 months. It's a great mouse.for the time it works. The mouse cable is too tight, even though I am very careful when putting it away after use.
I won't make that mistake again. Fortunately I have the hand size of a nine year old girl so it wasn't an issue. I bought maybe a half dozen of these for use in a road show. It certainly has a decent price. This mouse is tiny and that was a surprise. The chords tuck away into the bottom of the mouse which was really nice for travel and prevented tangles and broken lines.
These have largely been abandoned back at the office, the staff prefer full sized mice but all in all they served their purpose well and I have no complaints at all. It was small and light and worked perfectly. First things first. I figured 'Notebook' mouse was a fancy way of saying 'hey, its a mouse and it will work with any computer including your notebook'.
Worked for about 1 month before the cursor started moving itself all over the screen at random all the time. Feels cheaply made, cheap thin cord, no retractable cord, broke after a month and not that cheap in price. And yes, I checked, its the mouse. Also, this much money for a mouse without a retractable cord is ridiculous. Doesn't get much worse than that.
I have a average palm size of an average American teen (about 18) and fits my palm pretty comfortably. The length of the cord is sufficient and of the right size too (neither too long nor too short).Conclusively, I LOVE this buy. It doesn't work at its best on just any surface. BUT, it has a weak point. As you can see, this is a optical mouse and it's pretty cute too. I have found that it works accurately on wooden surface but I don't use a mousepad.
