Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Compact Speakers for iPod (Black) Reviews

Good enough so that we all remarked on the quality coming from such a small battery powered device. Last weekend I took it camping and got a good 6-7 hours of play out of it at reasonable volume. We needed something truly portable, decent sounding and reasonably priced. So it sits unused 99% of the time in our kitchen. Knowing how good the Bose sounds I knew this thing was no match in the sound quality department, but it sounded GOOD. I listened to a friend's on a trip recently and really loved it.

This is it. It sounds great, but was expensive and, as an older model, doesn't take batteries. We have a Bose ipod dock. And it's tiny size makes bringing it everywhere very easy. Love the carrying case. This works every night in our baby's nursery, takes up no space and looks good.

I listened to a couple of competing units at the store, but they were not great and all have some other problem too big, not good battery life, outdated looks.

Very portable and with a very nice case and remote. It keeps the I-touch charged and the playback fidelity is very good. I use it with my Apple I-touch, and it works beautifully. Just what I was looking for. Great item for the price when compared to the Bose products.

Good for outdoors and loud enough in small rooms. These speakers are great for the price I paid for them. The bass is pretty good for such small speakers. I recommend for it's price.

Logitech customer support was great and offered me a refund and I won't hesitate to buy from them again. I loved this unit because it was attractive, compact, had a remote, and I liked that it could be charged and taken out and about for the day. But it still worked while plugged in. Sadly, it did not live up to its expectations but I look forward to whatever their next newly designed model may be. I didn't even get to use the first one because after charging, the light came on for a sec, it seemed to freeze, and then ceased to work. I got a replacement and within a few months, it no longer held a charge. I have now bought two of these units and sadly, both of them have been returned.

The LEDs will freeze as they cycle. It worked well for a week or so. Most of the time it would freeze on 3 full LEDs. Then I noticed that the battery wouldn't recharge. The speakers sound good, even at the louder volumes. I'm a big logitech fan and am very disappointed. Lately I've started noticing my ipod acting funny while using the speakers. It was so nice to not have to depend on a near by outlet when using.

With no warning it just stopped. It's a good set of speakers, but with the battery feature all but absent it makes it hard to justify the premium price. Makes me wonder if the problem is more than just the battery and maybe it can damage my ipod. Nope.

So you think it's fully charged. I got this to play rifftrax through as a movie plays through the surround. You can actually see it. I got this back in Feb of 08.

It fully recharged nicely twice. It's disappointing that it can't hold a charge at all.
