Logitech 960-000240 QuickCam Communicate MP (Black) Reviews
I was referred to this product by a friend. The webcam is easy to setup and the picture for the price is great.
I'm sure there are better cameras availalbe, but this one did everything I needed for a relatively low price. Setup was straightforward. This is compact webcam with actual 1.3 megapixel resolution for about $50. The optional software features did not interfere with initial use, but did improve performance when called upon.
this product does everything it said it would, the video quality is great and i love using it to talk to all of m friends away from home. i would recommend it to anyone.
The MP unit is performing well, so far (a month). I bought the Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP to replace a QuickCam Communicate STX whose microphone failed 8 months after I bought it.
Maybe the lens is just a lousy lens. I would not recommend this camera to a friend, and if I had it to do over again, I would not get this camera, but opt for one with adjustable focus. The only redeeming qualities are the bundled software, which seems to work fine, and I like the "privacy" feature, which is sort of a glorified sliding lens cover. I've tried sitting at various distances from the camera, and all of the images are fuzzy. For all the claims about high resolution, this camera produces poor images. It seems that the "fixed focus" lens is never focused. I hope there are better cameras out there in the same price range, as I did not consider this camera to be inexpensive.
