Simple, no frills. Using it in Skype and Quicktime and it works just fine. Great product, easy to use, does what it is supposed to do. Could not get it to work with ichat-that could be my technical error though.
It really is as simple as plugging it in, very easy to use. If you are looking for a camera that has awesome video and sound quality then this is the camera for you. Other than that it's a great camera. The only downfall is it does not come with any software so if you're looking for cool effects you're going to have to buy that separate.
Hope it helps. The reboot usually fixes the problem, but it's still annoying for the $100 web-cam. Love the extra wide angle of the image. But, from time to time I've had an issue with the smart lighting feature not properly working. This web-cam does the job well with no drivers required for mac.
Interfaces perfectly with Skype, Yahoo and Ichat. plug it in and it works. Awesome product for my new Imac. no software.
I've used many web cams over the years. If fact, I also have the Logitech Quickcam Orbit. Works in an almost dark room. Great. However, this is the best webcam so far.
