Logitech R-20 2.1 Speaker System Reviews
I was expecting to get a really cheap, crappy set of speakers for what I paid, but they work really well. These were really affordable and work great. I would recommend these.
i bought these speakers over year ago there are great for the pc excellent sound and lovely bass for movies or music.
So far I have been very satisfied with these speakers. They provide decent sound quality, and decent volume. Also the bass is a bit boomy, it doeant have a tight sound. The bass is'n very powerfull so if you are looking to shake the walls dont buy these. The biggest disadvantage is the lack of an external subwoofer volume control, without using an equalizer there is wayyyyyyyy too much bass, and it just sounds terrible. For the price (I bought it used for 25 bucks) these speakers are AWESOME.
For the price (27 $) I am happy. All of the sound appears to be coming from the subwoofer. The Logitechs have a lot of bass which is unusual considering how small the subwoofer cabinet is. I bought the Logitech R20's because the cheap, tiny speakers that came with my Gateway Desktop had absolutly no bass. The tonal balance between highs and lows seems to be relativly pleasing, but a little more high end (treble) would be welcomed. As has been noted the satelites are a little weak.
You will have to use equalizer settings in whatever media program you are using if you want to tone down the subwoofer. These speakers have no separate adjustment for subwoofer volume. Also, the speakers will not work without the subwoofer plugged in. So, this is not the product for you if you need to keep things quiet at times.
