Microsoft Arc Mouse (Black) Reviews
I bought this mouse about 3 months ago as an upgrade to a Logitech nano mouse, mainly because it was slightly smaller when folded for travel, but slightly larger when unfolded for use. I liked the feel of it, but after about 3 months the scroll wheel has completely stopped working, so that there is no "click" and also no movement on the screen. In contrast, my Logitech nano mouse was over a year old (and I've gone back to using it since the Arc mouse broke).
Better than I expected. - Stylish. - Scroll wheel could be better, but you get used to it quickly. Cons:. Pro:. - Feels nice in hand. - Foldable and good for travel.
Perfect. Portable. Folds up and turns off.saves your batteries. The best design I have ever seen in a laptop mouse.
Product NOT found), and they will not move in a quick pace to make your product return easy. I purchased it when there were no reviews, using a big coupon to save on the crazy price, and that was a mistake. After three months of average use, the Scroll wheel broke completely, and the rubberized surface wears off, rendering the product ugly and useless.
Thankfully it has a 3 year warranty, so I can get a replacement from Microsoft that will break just as fast. What I liked originally about the Arc Mouse was its battery life, and the design of the ergonomic arc that did serve a purpose. I recommend any similarly featured Logitech mouse over this, that was what I was forced to buy afterward, not to mention in costs 3 times less.
One day yours will stop making the clicking noises you come to expect from it as you scroll, and if you try to use it to scroll, it will do nothing. And I don't know if you've ever been forced to call Microsoft, but it is effectively a death sentence. You can't understand what they're saying (Big surprise there), the product # for the arc mouse doesn't exist (Look it up in their online support.
The scroll wheel is designed to break, it's only a matter of time.
Back button not too convenient but works. RMA'd and second item better but this time batteries are DEAD.
Buy but beware. First item defective - batteries too hot to touch after 2 minutes (internal short).
No connectivity to PC.
Item has nice feel. Nice fold up for travel.
Using own batteries, finally working.
