Zoom in on your work with the innovative Magnifier.

Use the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally and vertically.
Microsoft High-Definition Technology
Whether you're working on a document, perusing a Web page, or playing the latest video game, you can enhance your performance with the Comfort Mouse 3000's high-definition technology. It delivers more precision and responsiveness while offering smoother tracking on more surfaces than ever before. To put it simply, it's the most advanced tracking system available.

Full Tilt
Scroll up and down and side to side more smoothly, efficiently, and easily with the innovative four-way tilt wheel. It's simply a more efficient way to navigate documents, spreadsheets, and Web pages. The entire scroll wheel tilts from side to side, acts as a button, and reacts to how quickly you roll the wheel to enable smooth, accurate maneuverability. For example, if you're working with a super-wide worksheet, you can tilt the wheel from side to side to scroll right and left, without clicking tiny scroll arrows.

All Hands Welcome
Lefties rejoice! The Comfort Mouse 3000 is made to be used in either hand, making it highly versatile. No matter which hand you use, customizable buttons offer quick access to the media, programs, and files you use most often.

Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 ( D1T-00002 ) Reviews

When I got the mouse, I noticed a button on the side and when pushed, it makes the screen zoom in for easier reading and examining. I purchased this so that I could get the accuracy of the laser. I am very happy with the purchase. I play games often and hated the roller-ball mouse.

With the USB plug-ins, I've found that the wire cuts down on the potential difficulties that you may have. I got this one on the cheap from a big box store and have no complaints with it whatsoever. I had a lot of problems with mice over the years so I went out and bought this one a few months ago for my work computer after the old one went on the fritz. I'm constantly taking it out and packing it up and have had no problems regarding the wire or its responsiveness. Further, for what I do the mouse has to be durable.which this one certainly is. At home I have the wireless Microsoft model which continues to work great, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a second one. Also, I like that I'm not perpetually changing batteries.

It is very difficult to use correctly, since you have to kind of pull it in towards yourself when you click it, and the button is really freaking stiff. But the main killer here is the middle mouse button. On the plus side, the mouse software was very handy and well integrated to the default windows mouse settings. Not only that, but there is a built-in.5 second delay, which is really really REALLY annoying if you're using programs like Maya and middle-click a lot.

It was easy to change the function of each button to do different keys and macros, which is handy because the default button maps are basically useless for anyone except maybe my grandma. **Update**. When I first plugged it in and started using it, I found it a little uncomfortable. I've found the middle button to be utterly useless, as it works maybe 1 out of 10 clicks.

Its seriously ludicrous how many perfect reviews this thing has gotten. If you buy this, make sure to keep the receipt, and don't say I didn't warn you. I have what they call a "fingertip grip", so anyone with a similar type of grip should probably stay away from this thing (however you could probably get used to it after a while). To be fair, I haven't noticed any problems related to its pointer accuracy, but thats hardly a concelation when nearly every other aspect of this thing is either physically painful or frustratingly difficult to use.

It's been a few days, and I my hand is really starting to ache (I recommend everyone search google for "mouse grip type" and figure out what kind of grip you have before you get a mouse). After 5 minutes using Maya I knew it was time to get a new mouse. All in all, I'd say stay away from this stinker, especially if you use high end software or you're a serious gamer.

This mouse was not comfortable to use either for me or my husband. It is not a fast mover or pick up objects such as puzzle pieces. If you only need a mouse for office work it would be ok, but NOT for any games.

Even with accelerated scrolling turned off the wheel either over or under shoots it's mark consistently. During document browsing, as you hold down the side scroll the middle mouse will eventually give in and start the hand free scroll. I purchased this mouse at a local superstore for $20. During gaming it is hard to get the middle button to activate due to it's latency and the fact that the side scroll tilts with far less pressure than it takes to press down the wheel. All in all this mouse is worthless and I would not recommend anyone to purchase it unless I was seriously mad at them. My hand outruns the pointer regardless of speed.
