Microsoft SideWinder Gaming Mouse Reviews
good mouse, not for just anything if u are just going to cruise th net go cheap , but to play games this is the ticket
uncomfortable but my son says it's that to him it's very comfortable. This is a really good mouse for the money, My son has been using. compared to his old mouse. it in the games he plays and he enjoys the responsiveness of it. make it a bad mouse for the money. The looks of the mouse might not appeal to everyone but that doesn't. A lot of people say the mouse in very.
The two thumb buttons on the left hand side of the mouse are extremely useful for gaming. It's fully adjustable for both movement and feel. The left and right mouse buttons are excellent compared to the previous (famous make) gaming mouse I am replacing. Map a grenade and melee to these buttons and watch your kill rate increase. On the fly DPI switching is great. Excellent scroll wheel 'button'. Excellent gaming mouse. It has precision.
This mouse may be difficult to use the clickers with. I am very happy with this product and all the features that it has. I have big hands so this mouse is comfortable and easy to click with.
I also think this mouse is for you if you want to be a gamer like me. Other Note: Just off topic, if you're going to get a keyboard with this item then I suggest that you get the Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard these items go well together.
There is one thing however that does not affect me at all but may affect you, DO NOT GET THIS MOUSE IF YOU HAVE SMALL OR PETITE HANDS. =] I am here to say that when I got this mouse I was amazed at how much better it looked in person than in the picture online.
The mouse is very comfortable and I think built on par, if not to higher standards, than other gaming mice. I tried the G9, but it was too short for my tastes; I needed a mouse with some body to it.
I would have given 5 stars if it had a tilting scroll wheel for horizontal scrolling and the option to alter the USB polling rate. Unfortunately the sidewinder lacks this.
It has almost everything I was looking for in a mouse, particularly the on the fly DPI switching with some sort of visual indicator to let you know what setting you are on. I needed a replacement for my trusty Logitech G5, which was dying. The Sidewinder fills that niche nicely.
I've found some games, like F.E.A.R., are especially sensitive to high USB polling rates, so having a mouse that can alter this is nice.
