This is a great book for anyone who wants to go beyond just knowing the basics of Vista.
I have bought "Step by Step" books on many programs. Book arrived as expected. There are sections I skip because they are very basic, but other readers may find the basic information very helpful. This one, like the rest, has been very helpful.
Book had a DVD with it and it didn't work. Same problem. Even Microsoft Press own DVD don't work correctly Returned book and DVD to Amazon for replacement and it still didn't work. Nothing but problems. Old system crashed and I was forced to upgrade to Vista.
I also have an edition for Window's XP. You just take it one step at a time and before you know it you'll know your computer. This is a God send for people who are not yet computer savvy.
