One of the best bluetooth mouse in the market, I have used with a ThinkPad T60, ThinkPad X61 and a Macbook Pro without trouble. As some other reviwers have point out the documentation is the worst of these product.
This mouse does what it says it will. It is lightweight so all users should be comfortable holding it in their hand as they do their presentation. Great range and easily used even by the PC illiterate.
-The scroll is extremely sensitive. are reset to the defaults. -It constantly looses the connection with the computer. Each time I reboot my computer, my settings (pointer speed, scroll speed.). I have always been partial to Microsoft products because of the responsiveness of the buttons. Changing the setting does not help, because it will either be too fast or too slow. After using this $80 mouse, I returned to my $10 mouse and enjoy it much more. After using this mouse, I went back to my $10 wired Microsoft mouse.
I had read about these complaints before I purchased this mouse, but I chose to ignore them. However, this mouse is different than any of my other Microsoft devices that I have owned in the past. -The batteries last an average of two weeks. The mouse constantly looses the connection with the computer.
When this occurs, you must reset the mouse (pressing the button on the bottom), open the mouse properties dialog box, instigate a search, wait 30 seconds, then you must reselect the mouse when it is discovered (if you are fortunate, it it will be found, otherwise repeat the process five to ten times). -The buttons are not as responsive as a $10 Microsoft mouse. -The settings are reset every time the computer is restarted. Even when I turn the mouse off every night and reduce the sensitivity, my batteries last about two weeks.
The scroll speed is so sensitive that I cannot use the wheel to scroll through web pages or PDF documents. Worthless.
the magnifier option very handy for my screen eyes so poor over short distances and very common problem i guess. Bluetooth works seemlessly under vista business. laser pointer handy addition great mouse cheap price excellent software very happy. Item arrived at hotel before I did from Brisbane Australia after ordering on our Friday and arriving late on Monday in Chicago. button functions seem to go to sleep after extended use without using magnifier button etc. A very good deal.
Confusion over shipping address caused the product to be returned. Great service from CDW; will continue to get my products from them until Amazon quits using people in India for customer service. Ordered this mouse from CDW and got it quickly and spoke with an AMERICAN in Chicago, IL. Ordered this wonderful product. What a joke. In talking with a person from INDIA, they could not get the address right.
