Can't enjoy something that arrived damaged & inoperable. After getting a refund thru Amazon's intervention with seller, all it can be now be used as a door stop. Too bad, but enough said.
First of all, it is completely obvious to anyone that the graphics capabilities of this system are long outdated. Also, as far as I know, you can only get one used. However, unlike the 360, this system is built very well and there are very good games for it. Sure, you can buy a 360 and play most of the original xbox games on it by downloading a relatively small file. But, I will say one thing: If you haven't owned either system consider that the Halo games are very good games, but that as far as single player goes (and really overall) part one and two are by far the best. You can play them on the original Xbox. My uncle had the xbox I am using now and played the halos endlessly. He's only played part 3 on the 360 and not much because he didn't like it very much. And guess what. Just a few weeks ago when he got part 1 & 2 and the backwards compatibility file and started to play again, his system bit the dust. My brother in law is on his second system. The guys at the video game stores say they are crap. I will admit that they have better games than the Ps3. But you're looking at an original Xbox. All I have to say is, if you can get one, there's a good chance that though it'll most likely be used, you won't wear it out any time soon. There's Halo 1 & 2 and the first 3 Xbox Call of Duty's. So, if you want a good system that you can get for cheap, go for it. And as far as the quality of the games, I don't believe it's better on the 360, probably not as good, definitely if you primarily want to play the halo's. Only compromise is reduced graphics quality, but not too long ago were quite content with playing 16 bit super Nintendo games and such.
Was sold an XBOX thinking it was in "Good" condition. Got it, set it up, no games work on it. Do not buy this product from this seller. Simple as that
In OK I found a x box controller for like $16 at wally world and they are also sold a Family dollar for about $13.
... its an outdated video game system id rather have the PS3 but im broke soooooo
