No problems when attaching different midi devices. Worked well with all my different software. Works as stated.
I was looking for a budget MIDI interface, and this serves the purpose at a reasonable price if a person is willing to deal with a few hassles along the way. This hardware does its job adequately - my computer and keyboard are talking to each other. (The last few times I unplugged I did not have to reinstall, however). Also, several times after unplugging the midisport from the computer, I've had to reinstall it the next time I wanted to use it rather than simply plug it back in - also a hassle. However, it is an extra hassle to deal with the "software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing" messages.
