MIDLAND WR300 Weather Radio Reviews
This radio is MUCH more complicated to set up than all the reviews I read would have you believe. It may alert you to weather conditions but it doesn't do what I wanted it to do. We still haven't managed to turn it into a clock radio despite trying for over a week to program it.
Purchased as a Christmas present. Bought one last year for my self and really enjoy it.
These were gifts for my grown children. As far as I know, these radios are performing as advertised.
Has all the "bells and whistles" I wanted. Great radio. The ability to select what warnings I wanted in what regions was a real plus.
This is well-built and clearly designed for all kinds of emergencies. While everyone else is scrambling to get to shelter in time, my wife and I are already in a safe place listening to our Midland radio. I also appreciate all of the features - such as the ability to deactivate audible warnings for certain types of emergencies (like flood warnings if you live on a hill and do not care). I have only had this for just over a year, but it has already woken me up several times in the middle of the night for a tornado warning up to ten minutes before the city's warning sirens went off.
