M&Ms Kart Racing Reviews

I paid $14.99 at K-mart and thought it was worth the money as another game to add to our growing collection. and the steering wheel in reverse mode (again use the B button to reverse) is not like when you are driving a real car, it is the opposite. I do agree it is hard to navigate some courses and the course is NOT marked well on most courses. As far as the reverse, press the B button and it will reverse you. we do not own any other racing wii games to compare it to though. Maybe you should rent it before you buy it to see if you like it. My likes would be, it's not violent, and there are lots and lots of tracks and game styles to choose from.

My son received this in his stocking, and we have really enjoyed it in fact he's begging me at this very moment to put it back in the machine. The controls have to be held with a super light hand, I myself have played it numerous times. It certainly is not the best game out there but was fun for a cheap game. A lot will have to do with your own skill with the remote and driving games. My main complaints would be the controls are light to the touch meaning you dont' have to do much with the control to have your car go crazy.

Mario Kart for Wii (not surprisingly) is so much better I can't begin to tell you. Difficult to learn to play and lousy graphics and bad game once you finally get the hang of it anyway. In fact any thought of a comparison is not even fair - this game isn't close. Save your money on this one. Brutal, absolutely brutal.

If you want to feel frustrated, play this game. There is no hint or instruction on how to advance to next level. There is no instruction on how to unlock tracks and karts. The design is dark and boring. It was very difficult to control the kart. Time and money wasted totally.

That's the only thing I could think of. You want to fling the Wii remote at the screen in rage after just a few attempts at making a circuit. M&Ms hates us all and never wants us to play video games again. The tracks are a mess. No reverse. You get caught on every little thing along the edges of the tracks and guess what.

Save your sanity. My kids refused to put it back in after one play session. Save yourselves. The controls are terrible. Do not buy this game. The graphics are uninspired and the audio is wretched.

Save your money.

My kids (14/9/8) received this game for our Wii at Christmas. Most racing games have a map feature that tracks where you are on the track and lets you anticipate the turns. The M&M characters were cute but this is too hard for younger kids to master and poorly designed to call it a racing game. In addition, some of the darker areas were like driving in a tunnel and I could hardly see where I was going.

We played on a large flat screen TV and in dual mode, I could hardly tell where I was supposed to drive. They had a very difficult time learning how to play so they did not want to play it. It was very difficult for me to play because of the way the game is set up.

Strongly recommend a do not buy. This game not only does not have this, it puts messaging across the screen disrupting your view. I sat down with them and we picked up the hang of the game.
