Monster Jam Reviews
(Amazon sells them). I had to purchase a graphics card to play it, which wasn't that much money. I love this game. Well worth the money. Graphics are great, there are many different tracks to race on and trucks to choose from.
This was my first on line purchase and I ordered 2 different Monster Truck games. The other one worked just fine with our systems(thank goodness) but Monster Jam didn't. My grandson was so excited, he picked this game out himself and waited on the mail carrier everyday until it came and needless to say he is very disappointed that it won't work. I purchased this Monster Jam PC game for my grandson's 3rd Birthday as he is a little monster truck maniac. This game is of no use to us and will not work unless we upgrade the computers with different video cards, etc. Before you buy this or any other PC game make sure your computer has the system requirements needed for that game/program. In my opinion the system requirements should be CLEARLY STATED in the product description so there are no suprises or upset children. Little did I know that it would not play in any of our computers.
This game does not support steering wheels, either use a keyboard or a game pad. I have the PC version of this game. I have not found any type of multi player mode, kind of disappointing. Overall the fun factor of this game is pretty high for just arcade style racing as this game is not for true sim racers.
Also their is no incar view, either use chase view or front bumper view. No excuse for a modern day driving game not to support steering wheels. Damage model is pretty detailed. Graphics are really good but trucks cast no shadows.
He rec'd it for Christmas (PC version) and LOVES it. My 5 year-old saw the commerical for this while watching Monster Jam on TV. We had to buy a new video card for our PC, but that's all.
i would recommend it highly to any child interested in the monster jam trucks. it has so many features and differnet things you can do with it. i bought this computer game for my grandson who is 9 yars old. OMG he loved and played it for hours. my grandson and his dad go to the events all the time and he was so excited to be able to play and race and crash the trucks any time he wanted
