Using different button combinations, you can break an opponent's arm, rip their heart out, tear their head off, or all of the above. Last, but not least, is the Kustom Fatality feature. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is a must for any fan of the Mortal Kombat gaming series, or anyone who just likes fighting games with a lot of violence. Though the beloved Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat from Deception don't make a reappearance, there is something new to the MK series: Motor Kombat. You only have a certain amount of time to execute each move in your fatality, so choose your finishing moves wisely. And the more violent the fatality is, the more koins you get. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon has to be the best Mortal Kombat game yet.
Unlike Mortal Kombat: Deception's Konquest mode, however, this mode follows the game style of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, fighting numerous opponents at a time. Just like Mortal Kombat: Deception, this game has a Konquest mode that follows it's own unique story line. You'll be happy to know that in Armageddon, there aren't multi-colored koins like in Deception or Deadly Alliance. It's a racing mode where you can pick between ten Mortal Kombat fighters (each with their own special attack to give them an edge in the race), and race against eight of them on one of five different tracks, each one with enviornmental fatalities. They're just coins, and you can use them to unlock concept art and alternate costumes in the Krypt, or you can buy fighting moves, special attacks, and clothing for your Kustom Fighter. It features every character to ever appear in the Mortal Kombat series, and, for the first time ever, a Kreate a Character mode, where you can customize your fighter's gender, look, name, fighting style, weapon style, and special moves.
I do appreciate this game, after all, it's fair, but I think they could have done MUCH better, even if we had to wait longer for the release. Alot of characters, really, but couldn't you at least made new outfits, Boon. As much as I am excited about Mortal Kombat VS. Dc Comics, even though I don't even own a PS3 yet, I am not excited to review this game.
were in. I got it just because older characters like Ermac, Noob, Rain etc. My hopes were too high. The create a character function is decent as well but it still could have been so much better.
Overall I honestly wouldn't recommend getting this game, but hey if you want to go for it. Played it for one day, not even a whole day, and stopped. There isn't much variety to it at all. Well, I was honestly expecting much more from this game.
The character selection is HUGE however they removed the second fighting styles from everyone I have tried. Unfortunately they got pretty crappy fighting styles and with no second fighting style it just gets boring fast. (not including the story mode)

The best Mortal Kombat game ever, it has everything you need:. *Motor Kombat game is also included, a very fun race game. *A great Konquest game is included with a deep story.
On the 4th match the comp would not let him get even one hit on him 5 rounds. All I have to say about this game is that the konquest mode and kreate a fighter is great. The only bad part about the game is no individual fatalities and that the comp can be so immpossible to beat or really really easy. Well other than that this game is a 4. I was like wtf this kind of stupid even on easy they can be to strong to kill. I beat like 4 dudes a on max with lil trouble but when I tried to kill the guy for my friend on easy I about got pwned. I let my friend play this game on easy for his first time.
