good in my area for up to 1 mile and very good in house . nice to have battery charger
Brought this on vacation to keep track of kids as an alternative to expensive roaming charges while out of country. The one time we needed it to work, it didn't. End of Story.
No complaints for the advertised range. I used them on a road trip to communicate between cars and they functioned perfectly.
So far these are perfect for camping, hiking and our main use is backing in the motorhome without screaming. lol
I use these radios to talk between bikes. Work very well - 1/2 mile to 2 mile range using the FRS channels.
