Motorola MOTOROKR T505 - Speaker phone - wireless - Bluetooth 2.0

The MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone and Digital FM Transmitter, enables you to connect a Bluetooth enabled phone to your car stereo without wires or installation. This portable solution clips to the visor, so that it can be taken from car to car. You can make or take calls hands-free and enjoy your own music via the T505's internal 2-watt speaker or through your car speakers - with the clarity and volume of a car stereo system. Music streams from a compatible Bluetooth stereo phone or MP3 player to the MOTOROKR T505, via Bluetooth. The T505 then wirelessly connects to the FM radio. With the touch of a button, the breakthrough technology of StationFinder announces where to tune the FM radio for a clear FM connection. Drivers can also simply use the T505's internal speaker to play their music and calls if they're in an area where FM transmission is difficult.

Motorola MOTOROKR T505 - Speaker phone - wireless - Bluetooth 2.0 Reviews

However, the person you are talking to needs to overlook some background noise. VERY loud and irritating. It just limits how loud you can turn up the speaker for that reason only. while in the car talking with someone you can hear fantastic. Both car radio and built in speaker functions work excellent. The major problem we are experiencing is a loud squacking noise that is heard by the other party when they talk.

My problem is the clarity. The solution is to turn the volume down.

It's easy to get started and basically works as it states. Then its managable or almost gone.

I purchased two of the speaker phones - for me and my husband. Volume and clarity are not an issue - love it.

Its a shame as YOU can hear perfectly. It almost sounds like the sound of your voice will echo into the phone.

I probably wont return, but wouldnt purchase again knowing this.

We are from one of those states where it is illegal to talk on cell phone without a hands free device and this is far superior to the ear bugs. I have yet to read the instructions as she said she couldn't get the FM portion to work - but trust me if my wife loves it - you will too. I gave this to my wife for a Xmas stocking stuffer. At first she wasn't impressed but after sticking it in the car and turning it on - she loves it.

I actually didn't buy mine from Amazon but I highly recomend if you want one you buy it here. This is great because I have the smallest ears on the face of the earth and I don't hear super great (its a wonderful combination.lol) so not only was it hard to keep an ear piece attached to my ear, but there was no happy meadium for me hearing the person on the phone. Now I just start my car set my radio station (and save it on a preset) and make my calls. And 1 time my phone rang while I was driving and the station to recieve the call changed so I had to look for it before I could hear the person that called me. My only issue, which isn't a big deal to me.if you like to use the radio for the calls you have to press the FM button to find a station everytime you turn it on. It was either to loud or to quiet. I love how it announces the number when a call is coming in and I can actually call people and say their name and find it in my phone.

Its not always the same station (maybe its my area that is the problem too). I lost mine and can't remember how to sync my new iPhone. 1 suggestion.keep your set manual in the glove compartment. It works great and its really convienent. I got mine on sale for about 40 bucks more then its going for on Amazon.

Everything seemed to hook up and pair just fine and I've tried in vain to hit the >Play button on the T505 when the MP3 track is playing on the phone. I also checked all the FAQs online but my problem wasn't addressed. When the T505 is energized I also can't even hear the MP3 tracks on my V3t so I have to turn the T505 completely off to hear music or podcasts. I have a MotoRazr V3t and have tried other car lighter FM transmitters so I can play podcast MP3s on my phone. Silence. I read all the glowing Amazon reviews for this item and they just marked it down so I bought one and am very happy with it (works superbly for hands-free cell phone calls), EXCEPT that it won't play the MP3 music on my phone. I finally sent an email and hopefully I'll get a technician to walk me through whatever's wrong.

This is Motorola->Motorola so I don't understand the failure to communicate. Not sure what I need to do; I tried calling Motorola but couldn't correctly navigate all the voice menus. Hmmm.

The visor mounting assures that the microphone is near to you when you speak so it works well. Sometimes it loses the FM transmission - the transmitter could me more powerful. I live in NJ and there are few radio stations open and not near anything else on the dial.

Driving around, it seems to require a lot of adjusting and/or it fades in and out.

BLuetooth connection works very well so it is an excellent alternative to a headset in your car. Works as advetised with a Sony Ericcson phone. I bought this from SF Planet and that experience was horrible.

It does not offer any noise cancellation like some of the more expensive headsets do but it works reasonably well for a reasonable price. Based on my experience I would buy it from some other retailer.
