It was great because every day of the week my classes started at different times and this way I didn't have to deal with resetting it everyday. This product is really great for college students. I'm a pretty light sleeper so the alarm buzzer woke me up easily but it never woke my room mate as it is pretty quiet.
I just set it once at the beginning of the semester, set it to run and never had to mess with it again. Now that I'm done college my dad has actually stolen the clock from me and uses it himself.
I'd definitely would recommend it for college students. I bought mine just before I left home my freshman year. The radio is much louder though so it should work for anybody.
This product has some good thinking behind it. The best method is to turn it on 'radio mode' as it seems about twice as loud. Would I buy this product again. Overall, a great product, and it just needs some adjustment. However, the alarm sound itself is pitiful, it isn't loud enough to wake me up. Even at the increased volume of the 'radio mode' I had to move the alarm to head level for excellent results. Setting your weekly schedule is great in case you fall asleep or forget before you goto bed. Definitely, since the 'radio mode' is loud enough; although it doesn't irritate me wide awake like a buzzer sound can.
