Gameplay is the smoothest among all games, graphics are still awsome, difficuly can bring you a great challenge. Ninja Gaiden Black is by far the best game ever released on the X-Box. I even beat it in Ninj Dog mode (wich happened to be super easy) just to see how the story goes with Ayane. I hope Team Ninja plans to make great improvement's on Ninja Gaiden 2 and port it to the PS3, same as they have done to this game making Ninja Gaiden Sigma. 5 stars. I still play this game on my X-box 360. I have beat this game in Normal, Hard, V-Hard, even in M-Ninja. Many times I forget this is just an X-box game I am playing.
Yes Alma 1.0 is still mind-numbingly difficult and she will still kill you in a matter of 10 seconds with one of her combos. Check this game out on Xbox Originals (on the 360) or go get it used from gamestop, you will like this game. Alma (second time you fight her). Now they are much more difficult and you will need to actually try to beat them. A few changes to a few bosses have made this game much more difficult. BUT. Pretty much every other review on here sums up this game very well.
A lot more bosses deflect Flying Swallow and so that makes them 500x more difficult. Final Boss. Just be patient and you will like it. Most reviewers don't say this, but I think this is the most rewarding game I have ever finished, because once you are done you feel like you actually accomplished something rather than being "Ok well time to put it back on the shelf.". $15. Save yourself some time any money and buy it from Xbox Live (unless you don't have 5.9gigs). This is for the buyer's knowledge. hoped it helped someone :). and no, I'm not a Microsoft rep., it's that I just discovered this myself. Xbox Live offers this game for 1200 Microsoft points, which is approx. (Yes it is Ninja Gaiden Black I am speaking of). If the game is not under $15, including shipping, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
Having some difficulty is good but this game just goes completely overboard and after about the 30th time you die in the same level you just want to quit and never play it again. This game is good and worth playing but it is frustratingly rudiclously hard.
It just seems that this is a new hack and slash game genre which i believe will be considered an xbox classic. I don't know if im alone out here but i've been getting sick of a lot of new games coming out. It just doesn't seem to be as fun as before, But Ninja Gaiden has grabbed my attention. But all it takes is practice and eventually i beat the game. Since i've had this i've liked it. I loved the first one, and yes, it is HARD.
