Just get an adapter instead. This thing is pointless. This will not charge your machine.
I thought I was purchasing this as a second charger for the Nintendo DS. This is not the case. The unit does not include its own plug, and requires the use of the AC adapter charger cord that came with the game. Item is overall a disappointment. Also, if you have any kind of acrylic case or skin on your game, it has to be removed in order to fit into the dock.
It's a great dock. Mind the glow and you'll like it. However, the glowing light can be a little annoying, but after a while i've gotten used to it. Alright. Plug it in, it charges. It does exactly what I wanted it to do and what I payed for. This charges. I hope it doesnt drain the electricity bill (Like $1 a month or more but probably not) so that's why I'm giving this a 4 out of 5.

1. We got it hooked up and she loves it for three reasons. And last she says it makes for a great nightlight. she loves that she doesn't have to sit a certain way because of the cord. 2. it glows blue her favorite color. I got this for my mom because I saw how she was trying to be so careful of the cord. She has done so much for me I try to do whatever I can for her.
