No need to use plastic wrap or paper towels that move around etc. especially for soup and eggs tend to "exploid and spatter over the interior of the microwave oven. Great cover for microwave.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. SO THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I HAVE PURCHASED. THIS IS A GREAT ITEM TO KEEP FOOD FROM MAKING A MESS INSIDE YOUR MICROWAVE, HOWEVER IF YOU LEAVE IT ON THE STOVE AND TURN THE BURNER ON IT WILL MELT lol.
WARNING. Don't put finger in hole after heating. When it gets dirty just pop it in dish washer. It seems to speed up cooking times. No more wasting paper towels with this cover. I would watch it around children.
How did we ever live without this. My husband and I have always used paper towels to cover our plates and bowls in the microwave, with the usual results: cheese and other toppings stick to the paper towel, or the paper towel falls or caves in, resulting in splatter all over the microwave.
