Olympus S711BLUE Microcassette Voice Recorder Reviews

This is just what I have been looking for to record stories of older relatives to transcribe. It is a perfect size, not too small and easy for me to run, having arthritis in my hands, the buttons are comfortable to use. Great product.

I'm still trying to find out how to cancel it and get the pepsistuff points back into my account. Got an email today, won't be delivered until 11/21/08.yet it still shows it's available and IN STOCK to order. Was supposed to be a delivery date of Yesterday-9/15/08. Order this on 8/5/08 through Pepsistuff.com & was told it was backordered. Don't fall for it.

-Cheap, but accurate. -Large, easy to use buttons. Cons. Sony is also tiny, well made, and worth the price compared to the Olympus. A 60 minute tape becomes a 120, etc. -Allows 2 type of speeds. Pros.

It allows you to record with microcassette tapes, and has been proven much better than a digital voice recorder. I'm glad that I own it, and I would like you to have it too. It isn't too big or small, and it is accurate. The Olympus Microcassette Recorder S711 is the perfect utensil for corporate meetings, fun stuff, and stuff you know you want to remember. Looks SHARP in solid blue.

-No tape counter. -3 tapes with 90 mins. Overall, I rate the Olympus 4 stars. But I wanted to test the Olympus out. can hold more than some digital recorders which top $50. -From a name brand that you trust.

At first, when searching I'd looked towards Sony for their microcassette recorders.

Records over an old tape,. Xcellent performance,. Comes with Tape and Batteries Ready to Use. Very reasonably priced. Great for Music,Driving Directions,Studying,Grocery shopping, etc.

The mic and speaker reproduce decently crisp recordings. This is my second recorder and recording and playback are far superior to my Sony recorder. For a low-end recorder, this is a great option for the money.
