The device is simple to set up, and generally works great. However, it is always showing rain in the forecast even when its absolutely sunny outside and there.
I had to relocate the sensor from the first position I selected, but now it sends the signals just fine. It seemed relatively simple to set up and it delivers accurate readings. Very happy. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Purchased as a birthday gift for my Dad. It is very accurate and a great gift for someone that seems to have everything. He keeps it on a table by his recliner.
Packaged well. The product isnt exactly what we thought but everything works great. Fast shipping.
Keep in mind, especially if you live far from the broadcast station in Boulder, CO, that the radio signal strength is increased daily for a short while in the middle of the night so you may have to wait until then to catch the signal and update your clock. The only gripes are that (1) the setup instructions could be more explicit and clear on the exact button sequences and (2) the printed text next to the buttons on the back are near impossible to read becasue they used light colored text against the silver paint. The display is easy to see, even from a distance, and the content is logically arranged to quickly glance and catch the info you want. Other than those issues, the unit is working fine and picks up the radio signal here in NY state to set the clock. This model has enough features to meet the needs of my 80+ year old mother-in-law and still be easy to use.
