Panasonic 5.8GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable System Cordless Handset Reviews

The actual purchase of the item ordered was easy and it was received in a most timely manner. The phone system was as advertised and operates as it should.

The 5.8 GHz does not interfere with our wi-fi (wireless local internet) computer set up. This is a great phone system. For those with some hearing loss, the volume adjustment is easy. Liked it so much we purchased an additional remote phone to take it up to its full four-instrument capacity.

Very clear, excellent range from home base. On the other hand, 2.4 GHz phones are likely to conflict, so don't buy 2.4 (or lower) if you use wi-fi on your premises. Easy to use directory with room for many, many friends and family. And it holds it's place, so that you don't have to adjust the volume the next time you use the phone, unlike some others we considered.

This set included three phones.

Bought the base unit, plus two expansion phones; so far the 'system' has been reliable, the range is considerably better than my previous 2.4gHz Panasonic (which might have been suffering from conflict with my wireless router) and reception/transmission quality seems to be very good.
