Panasonic Additional Handset (KX-TGA930T) Reviews

Been a disaster since the day we bought them.
Digital screens go in and out.
Sudden hang-ups while on speakerphone.
Important buttons like "Talk" and "off" don't respond reliably.
After 6 months have gone crazy and need to buy new phones again.

Bought the Panasonic KX-TGA931T awhile back with two handsets. Both belt clips broke with hardly any force applied, and Panasonic says their junky clips are not a warranty item. Oddly, the coatings on most of the buttons is wearing off too. Physical phone quality is terrible, and Panasonic doesn't stand behind their product.

Bought this additional handset for my Panasonic Bluetooth phone system. The phone was set to pair right out the box. It only needed to be activated. Very easy to set up and works/is the same model as the two that came with the base unit. Good price through Amazon as well.

I've had a Panasonic home phone system, with base #KX-TG9343T, for a year or two, and it's worked fine with 3 handsets around the house. When an older Sony telephone in my kitchen stopped working, I decided to replace it with a 4th handset from the Panasonic system. It works perfectly with the rest of the system, and now I can "page" my kitchen phone from any of the other units. Only one drawback: the Sony was wall-mounted, a handy feature in the kitchen. This Panasonic handset sits vertically on a very small base; in theory, it can be wall-mounted, but that would make it quite unwieldly and likely to be knocked off the base. Instead, I found a location on the counter where it's not too much in my way.

Our Panasonic handsets have been a startling disappointment. Dropped calls are the norm. The sound quality is good...but only when they connect. Twice in the last month we have been unable to make calls at critical moments despite being charged. Particularly poor quality. I'm online looking for new phones now. Panasonic is not on my shopping list.
