The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. We have wireless systems throughout our house with laptops, speakers, printers and door bells and have had no interference from these phones. They work clearly throughout our house even the basement area. They were set-up in minutes by my spouse, who is not technically inclined. The only thing I would do differently is to buy the set that has a dailing mechanism built into the base unit. These phones work terrific.
Voice quality is also very good. This is a very good phone system for the money. One of the problems with my previous cordless phones was battery replacent costs(almost cheaper to buy a new phone). I also like the fact that you can add numbers to your library from any phone and it can then be used by any other phone on the system. Seems to hold a charge for a long time as well but it's new and batteries are fresh. Great clarity, talking caller id (you can program it to say something other than "call from Doe, John" to "call from Dad"). We bought this phone after reading a lot of reviews on line and must say that it met all of it's expectations. No problems or interference with Wi-Fi signals, good weight (doesn't feel like a cheap phone) and wall mountable base. Would highly recommend. Another great feature, these phones use run of the mill rechargable batteries. If they stop holding a charge, buy some new ones, no special order batteries required.
Talking caller ID saves many steps, and is fun to hear phone try to pronounce some names. Great range and features. Highly recommended Worked perfectly out of the box after initial charge.
This is part review and part question. I wouldn't mind having 2or3 extra handsets. I don't really want to pay full bore for them. I am quite satisfied with tha Panasonic KX-TG9391T base and satellite phones that I have. Does anybody happen to know if any of the similar model handsets would work with the base that I have. If the handsets were available on this site as a clearance item it would be worth it.
