For those looking for a phone with no features beyond placing and receiving calls (no caller ID with this one), I recommend this phone. After we used it for a few months I bought another one. They have worked without any problems at all and the sound quality is so much better than our cordless phones, and the corded phone we had before these. I was looking for something without any features other than being able to dial out, and talk. For $15, this is a great phone and a phone this basic is becoming difficult to find, even at place like Wal-Mart. I bought this phone becuase I tired of chasing a cordless around, and running out of battery power when using the cordless.
what can I say this is a corded wall mountable phone with no screen. if Panasonic one of the best players out there couldn't pull this off perfectly I would be shocked. buy it with confidence. this is tech that has been perfected for decades. this is a basic phone that works exactly like you would expect.
So obviously it doesn't require power to operate. No caller ID, no message waiting light, and so on.
I bought this phone to have as a back up for when power goes out. I highly recommend this phone to anyone that wants a plain basic phone.
Something rare these days. For the price you can't beat it.
It has no bells or whistles.
My only grip is the ring tone is horrible. It's a "chirp" sound and it scares my cat.
Works great and looks great. An excellent basic phone. It is perfect to ensure there is at least one phone in the house that works when the power goes out.
Didn't want features, just something to use during power outages and ended up using it as an everyday phone. It's actually a nice phone.
