Panasonic CS was no help. I need a new phone, but it will NOT be Panasonic. 15th 2008.
I bought this Feb. About April 15th the base station started making LOUD clicking sounds at every incoming and outgoing call. For now.
The 2nd never used, always in the charger in the other room, handset is still working. Today June 2 one of the handsets suddenly died. No display, won't indicate charging, nada.
It's very user friendly and would recommend this phone to anyone. With having two phones it allows her to have a phone in her bedroom and in the living room. The reception is superb and she has no complaints about the phone and the answering machine. This phone with answering machine was given to my mother and she loves it.
I just have absolutely no complaints and only praise. I'm looking forward to many years of happy use with this one as I did with my first one. My old Panasonic is very old and still going good. You truly can't go wrong with this phone. So there wasn't much of a learning curve. I really liked my first one and I really like this one. Ease of use is definitely there.
This is my second Panasonic phone. Sound is clear although a bit soft sometimes. Of course it's always nice to stick with a phone you already know the features of. I just decided to get a dual handset phone to work along with it. This might just be a problem for me though because I do have a small amount of hearing loss and I'm using a headset which tends to reduce the volume anyway. There is a feature though that allows you to boost the volume (above the regular volume level). It's a bit harder to erase CID numbers but then I have to think about the erase rather than just get on a roll and erase something I really wanted to keep.
The recorder is good in clarity and volume.
This phone is the worst cordless phone that I have ever owned. But if the caller cannot hear me and I cannot hear them, then I might as well be using Dixie cups tied together with string. I love the cradle, size, and features and Panasonic is tops in the cordless phone biz.
but panasonic is always best, but man someone was really loaded or somethign when making this particular phone. i wish toyota would make a phone,, haha. u could say i collect cordless phones. now i know my phones. i am a panasonic lover. what a waste of money.
i just hate it. convieneint for two cradles but cant hear anything on it and they cant hear u. ge could not make a dog tird if they had too. its horrible. this phone is horrible.
u r in tunnel alot of times while talkng. i just knew it had to be panasonic i got, i hate ge with a purple passion.
