The new system replaced an older one plus an answering machine. The system works great and has excellent range. She is happy and so are we. We had purchased this system previously for our home and we recently purchased another one for my Mother's house. My Mother can sit outside on her patio and make phone calls with no problem.
I searched for months for the right phones and I have found them. These have great reception and work well when I am outside.
The RANGE on it is out standing. Its the complete package. The base of both phones takes up NO room at all. Very attractive phones in my opinion.
Also a mute, pause, redial, call waiting, etc. I would highly recommend this Panasonic phones. I love this pair of Panasonic phones. I forget how many it holds.but alot. I have a large house and I am surprised at how far away from the base I can get and still NO static or problems at all.
You can change to a different ring setting if you like. It has an intercom buttom and it actually works really great unlike my other phones. Love the size of them in my hand.the reception is GREAT. If your looking for a nice sized phone that has good RANGE on it with ALL the features for a good price.this is it.
But its NO big deal.I just have had to make sure to go check it. Jan The menu is easy to use so you can put your personal phone numbers in the phone for easy access. I'm use to my last phone/message machine.it had a CHIRP that would make noise to let you know to check the machine. Its a great buy in my opinion. These are really great phones and the clarity of voices on the phone is excellent.
The battery life seems to be excellent.haven't had any problems at all in over a year that I've owned these. I can't think of anything negative to say about them. Besides the intercom it also has a speaker phone buttom on it. Other then that its a nice size.fits in my pocket when I go out front. Actually, the only thing I think I DON'T like is when someone calls and leaves a message on my answering machine when your gone.if you DON'T come look to see if the RED light is blinking.you don't know anyone called.
I was very upset when I opened my order and it was the wrong phone and it didn't even work, but when I called the customer service line, my fears were put to rest. Thanks Shragy. He apologized for the mistake in shipping and took care of it in a prompt manner. I spoke with Shragy, who made everything good again. He sent me a new phone and gave me a percentage off my bill and seemed legitimately concerned.
The first had a tape system which I used for 15 years with no problems. Set up was easy. I had two non-Panasonic sytems in between which were not reliable.
Love the system. This is my second Panasonic system. Have been using this system for several months.
After set up, had problems with one of the handsets holding a charge. I contacted Panasonic via email. They immediately responded with possible solutions which worked.
