Panasonic KX-TG5672B 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Digital Cordless Answering System with Dual Handsets

The Panasonic KX-TG5672B cordless phone system utilizes 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology (FHSS), meaning that it operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology while maintaining the great security, incredible clarity and long range. 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g Wi-Fi. This phone system is equipped with an all-digital answering system for quick, easy retrieval of crystal-clear messages. Message operation has never been easier, with up to 15 minutes of recording time, plus such features as pre-recorded outgoing message, remote operation, Tollsaver and skip-and-repeat. There's no need for pre-programming or any fancy setup as long as you have Caller ID service with subscription with local telephone company. Let the phone tell you who's calling, so you can decide if you want to answer it or not. Panasonic KX-TG5672B 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Digital Cordless Answering System with Dual Handsets Reviews

We like this phone. It seems to have a range of about 400 feet, only, and that's outside over flat ground; I wish it had more. The voice announcement is cute enough, and every other feature and aspect is what we want and need.

I must be truthful. The male voice with the AT&T was much clearer and much easier to understand.

I liked this feature much better. I wish now I had spent my money on a new AT&T.

It was small and the voice anouncement that I bought it for was very hard to understand. It would only anounce the name and not the number.

The voice was female on the panasonic and did a poor job with pronounciation. I had an AT&T that anounced the number.

I was disappointed with this phone.

The size of the talk and off buttons was mentioned by a few reviewers. The size of the buttons is also compact but not uncomfortably so. Before making this purchase I read many reviews for many different phones.

I carefully read the negative comments. This phone had the greatest number of reviews with only a very few dissatisfied customers (4 of 69). Most importantly, I feel the phone is a good value for the money.

I use reading glasses and I have no problem either seeing or using any of the buttons without my glasses. If you understand that there is no phone that will make everyone happy, this one comes out far ahead of the game.

The best features are the talking caller ID, easy to use and understand answering system, advanced cell phone type features such as specific ringtones for different callers, clarity of sound and easy set up. This phone is light and compact.

-speakerphone. Love the quality and the various features. -answering machine. I find these particular features essential:.

-call waiting.

Definitely worth the $.

-intercom.

There are lots of other features like memo and conference that I don't use regularly, but are good to have.

The old phone we had was frustrating to use, and it was time for an upgrade.

-hold.

Makes for working from home more pleasant.

-mute.

My husband bought this phone for me b/c I work from home from time to time.

The computer tries to read the name on the incoming call, which is often hard to understand, but still a fun feature. This phone has some nice features - the light flashes on the phone when it rings, you can pick up messages from any phone, choose your ring, etc. I miss the "page" feature that was on my last phone - now if it is off the cradle we have to search for the phone rather than page it.
