I'm quite please with this Panasonic model and have yet to experience a disappointment. I have not had a problem or have yet to replace the batteries. I originally bought the base and two handsets about three years ago. Which brings me to my purchase with Amazon and couldn't be happier with the results. We've moved into a larger home and wanted to add an additional handset to the mix. This phone has been the best I've ever owned.
I have been very happy with this system. It is very easy to set up and use. I needed this as the fourth phone in my system.
MY CARD WAS CHARGED ON THE DAY I ORDERED THE ITEM, AND A WEEK LATER I AM TOLD I WILL BE ISSUED A CREDIT. I WILL FIGHT THE CHARGES WHEN I GET MY STATEMENT IF IT IS NOT CLEARED UP BY THEN. IT MAKES ME QUESTION WHY AMAZON WOULD LET SUCH A FIRM SELL ON AMAZON. I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS TYPE OF REPRESENTATION WHICH I DID NOT EXPECT FROM AN AMAZON REFERENCED SITE. AS OF TODAY, I STILL AM NOT CREDITED THE MONEY ON MY CREDIT ACCOUNT. THE SITE SAID THE ITEM WAS IN STOCK, I ORDERED IT, THEN 6 OR 7 DAYS LATER, RECEIVE AN EMAIL ADVISING THE ITEM WAS NOT IN STOCK.
This product works perfectly as an add-on to our existing system. This handset has a great speaker phone built in, displays caller ID and call-waiting ID, and has amazing rangeseveral hundred feet in my experienceenough to cover our entire house and yard. We had a two-handset Panasonic system and wanted a third handset. Making it work with the base station is a simple process explained in the base station manual. Be aware that it is not a stand-alone telephoneit works only as an add-on to certain Panasonic base stations.
It is easy to program to the base unit and has great sound just like the orginal one no static at all Panasonic KX-TGA560B 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange® Expandable Digital Cordless Handset I ordered this as an addition to by original phone.
