Panasonic KX-TGA570S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable Digital Cordless Handset

The 5.8 GHz digital technology operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than 2.4 GHz technology; and, you still get great security and incredible clarity.

An additional handset for expandable 5.8 GHz Panasonic systems, the KX-TGA570S is compatible with both the KX-TG5771S and the KX-TG5761S system models. Like the base systems, the cordless handset utilizes 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, meaning that it operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology while maintaining the great security, incredible clarity and long range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.

Put the Phone Down While You Talk
When you've been on hold for ten minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just listen along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa listen to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.

Expand Your Options
The handset offers you access to a full range of features supplied by your base system, including a 50-station phone book, Caller ID (with subscription to local service), and depending on your base system model, the ability to process answering system messages and record memos.

What's in the Box:
Cordless handset, handset battery, charging cradle, user's guide

Panasonic KX-TGA570S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable Digital Cordless Handset Reviews

The answering machine options are non-standard and can get you to wipe out your message when dialing in remotely to check messages. They go bad easily.

Can't turn off ringer light. The shared phonebook feature is odd.

The intercom is always nice. Lots of little poor design features but overall the phone has some good features and it works ok.

You have to push a list to each of the other phones. I have 6 of these as I bought into the system a few years ago.

Batteries stop holding a charge, the speakers tend to go bad.

Now I have 5 phones one in every room. They have many cool features like ringtones and you can upload pictures into them. They are on sale now and I may buy a couple more. I just love them. I was not disappointed in fact I recommend this Panasonic phone system highly. I loved these phones so much I just bought 3 more. I love the talking caller id which is why I bought them. I purchased the base phone and 1 expansion two years ago.

fast delivery. plan to order other units in near future from same seller. product better than expected.

We've had no problems with it as we have had with multiple phones in the past with noise and clarity. The intercom feature is very nice and useful. It has a lot of bells and whistles that I have not taken the time to mess with setting up (customized rings, etc.)., but basic set up is easy and I'm very glad we chose this system. We bought the base for this about a year ago and now have added 3 extra handsets and will add a fourth.

I purchased two more thinking it would be a great way to get through my day, just swap one for the other when the battery started getting low. I had one of these units with the base and the battery would last for about 4.5 hours. However the two units that arrived only hold a charge for 2 hours. What happened. I work from home and use the phone for 8-10 hours each day.
