Panasonic SC-PT760 Deluxe 5 DVD Home Theater System Reviews
This is working great for my 20 Feet High ceiling room. One thing is sure that this beats Sony Home Theater system. I tried many of the home theater systems. But this is the best Home theater system I found.
Well worth the money. I am extremely satisfied. Also, I elected the super-saver (free shipping) and received the unit in two days (originator in Pennsylvania to residence Virginia) Easily installed, good directions, and excellent operation.
Sound through all channels is crisp and clear and full of features found in systems costing 2X the price. Workmanship is precise and clean making for simple construction. Bravo Panasonic for yet another affordable, quality product. Both these systems are truly a wonder considering the relatively low price. The Owners Manual could be a tad more precise and easy to follow but when I required some simplification, the Panasonic techs were readily available via the Internet. We are quickly becoming a "Panasonic Family Member". This Panasonic SC-PT760 is the second Home Theater System I have owned in the past year, the first being a Panasonic 960.
We were hoping to find a product to avoid that. The system works great but isn't as wireless as it leads you to believe. had to get into the attic to hide the wires for the background speakers - So while it's a "wireless kit" for the rear speakers they are wireless from the main system but have their own reciever that they are wired to wherever you chose to set them up. It offers great sound and relatively easy to set up (outside of the wiring). It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back and shopping more since we were excited to get our new TV and surround sound set up.
I recommend picking up an Optical Fiber cable if you're going to hook up multiple systems like I did. The system itself only has one Optical input, and I previously had all of my systems (Cable, Wii, 360, PS3) running through the TV. The only problem I've run into is the PS3, which plays in surround for movies but not games for some reason. But if your TV has an Optical Out, you can just use the cable to make the TV output through the speakers no matter which system you're using. This is my first surround sound unit, and it works well as an intro.
