I would recommend this for anyone looking to put a flat screen on a wall. I use this for a 52 inch LCD. Installation was a breeze and its a very sturdy product. It is very tight to the wall and I have no worries about it failing.
I had purchased a 40" flat panel TV and wanted to wall mount it. A fixed mount instead of a tilting one was chosen because the TV was not going to be mounted too high on the wall.
I chose this larger size over the smaller mount that would fit because of the wall stud spacing where I wanted to mount the TV.
The Peerless web site was down when I tried to go on line for some additional information for installation but I was able to figure out what I needed anyway. A longer plate was needed to span two studs.
Prices at the local box stores were were too high compared to this one. I was a bit confused about which size mount to order because of the overlap in the sizes of TV's that each mount would work with.
Overall it was a good purchase and an easy installation with help from my 11 year old daughter. The instructions are OK and there is more than enough optional hardware included to cover any brand of TV.
had it mounted in 20 mins, all the hardware was there. (hint) after you order this get/buy a 5/32 drill bit for the mounting screws. Bought this for my Vizio GV42LF. to drill the studs,also a stud finder it will make the job easier.
Even though the mount says it will fit most any 60" panel, it will *not* fit a Pioneer PDP-6010 60" Kuro display.
In reality, the latter is correct because the mount is wider than the 32" TV that I bought it for. The product title says this is for 32-60" TVs, but the description states it is for 37-60" sets. So it sticks out on both sides of the TV. If you have a set smaller than 37", I suggest purchasing the smaller model.
