You can choose what kind of dog you want, you can choose accessories and clothes for it, You do little missions, there are also mini games to play, you can find items by sniffing, catch fish and bugs that you can sell at the pawn shop for other items. This is great for little ones who haven't ever played a video game before. They have many other ones too w/ cats, horses, dolphins, etc. One good thing I like about this game is that it has symbols to tell you if a enemy is dangerous, or angry. My 10 year old son loves this game. He got it yesterday and he completed it today. I gave it 4 stars only because I think it could have been a little longer.
How can you not like a game with cute puppies. This game is sort of like Animal Crossing. Great for a child who loves animals. So if you are looking for a game for a younger child or you just want to find a game without violence this is the perfect game to get.
My 13-year-old says the characters are cute but not believable. The music is cute, but is very repetitive and can get annoying (you can turn the music off if you want to). They all have the same personality. The villians are too easy to defeat for her; she thinks the game would be appropriate for ages 8-12.
This may change for the older ones, though. Overall, I like really like this game despite its lack of challenges. Younger kids will like it because it is less challenging then most games and is comprehendible. Shopping, talking to other characters, fishing, catching bugs and animals, and much more. The plot is easy and understandable and the characters are cute. But who really doesn't like a silly game every once in a while.
I said that younger kids will like it because it is easy for them. The game is long enough and doesn't take up a lot of space in your memory card. Another reason is for its lack of challenges. There's also little things to do:. The reason I gave this only four stars on fun is because I can't really play it for the whole day. You start out choosing what kind of dog you would like to be. As always, there is a flaw and YOU have to fix it.
It's true that it will get boring if played for an entire day. I have to admit, though this is a great game, it is a little silly. Then you go on to play the game. Like I said the game is silly but enjoyable. This is a very fun game and is good for all ages.
