best picture quality excellent sound and very good aesthetics.price is very low.easy to convert to all region
Menu/option screens linger a bit longer than i prefer. I would say upscaling quality is closer to a 720p than a 1080i (but i am no expert). You can see some very obvious hazing/fuzziness of distant objects. Overall, for a model in the $50 - $70 dollar range i think it is a good buy. Upscaling is decent but not optimal. Decent quality picture.
Simply it is a great DVD and CD player as well. Perfect picture. Had it for 3 months now, no issues at all. Power saver. Plays multiple formats with no problems at all. works fast and quietly.
I choice this Pioneer DV-400-k for the reviews and price. The picture is clear and the unit is easy to use. Bryan
It does not work, but I bought the DV-410V-K and it does work with HDMI to DVI. I emailed Pioneer and asked if this would work with HDMI to DVI and what is the difference between this and DV-410V-K. They said the only thing is the USB on the DV-410V-K is HD and it will work HDMI to DVI.
