Other neat features include wma play (with a downloaded update), high-quality mp4, a nice little web browser, 4 levels of screen brightness (the highest only when plugged in), and more. The Family Guy UMD is merely a nice enough little extra. The included game in this pack is itself excellent, Daxter being a top-notch platformer. The screen has also gathered only the most minimal "buff" lines on the screen despite never being covered with protectors or the like. In terms of hardware, the silver PSP matches nicely parked next to a silver PS2 and has proven surprisingly solid, shaking off a couple of drops. The included 1GB is certainly enough to satisfy, though I picked up a 4GB card myself.
The PSP is quite capable, such as seamlessly playing shuffled songs in the background while looking through photos. Games that I've enjoyed most on the machine (besides Daxter) include Silent Hill Origins, R-Type Command, and Castlevania:DxC. Only outright deleting a file from a memory card will disrupt play. Approximately nine months after having received this package as a gift, I can say that it has certainly delivered. You can even set new wallpaper without interrupting the music.
Oh well. If only it had an integrated microphone. I love my PSP2000. No problems. I still love it. Great battery life too. It works great.
As nice as the other ones looked too, you can't go wrong with this Daxter pack: with the memory card and the Family Guy episodes included. My husband got this for me, just because. The screen is gorgeous to look at and it makes your pictures pop. Anyway, from what I saw in the stores and of the research I've done, this has surpassed my expectations. I've been into playing video games since the Atari. (Too young for Pong).
I can't wait to surf the net, listen to music, and watch videos & movies on this thing. The last hand-held I owned was a Nintendo SP. I'm playing Daxter and I don't want to put it down. And with Amazon's excellent service, tax free and free shipping.it definitely makes me want to come back shopping again. I recommend this for older children, or make sure you get a good carrying case/etc. (Thanks honey).
this is a great console, my kids love this, and I love this too, in my times nothing was like this, so my kids let me use this some times. PSP 2000 Console - Piano Black.
