Pro Ebiz 4 GB Video MP3/MP4 Player with 2.8-inch TFT Touchscreen Reviews

The touch screen on my is apparently more responsive than many reviewers. I've had no problems with it at all. It's probably better to use the stylus, but I've been using my thumb. If you're looking for an ipod, but don't want to pay the ticket price, you should be aware of the fact that this definitely isn't an ipod. It's not got the sound quality, or the same features. If you're looking for something that will play music, and maybe provide other entertainment while you're out and about, then this will do fine. It comes with a calculator, a notepad, a voice recorder, some games, picture options, mp4 options, and a few other interesting features. I'm not a personal fan of typing on touchscreens, but the notepad could be useful.

I've not had mine for long, so I've not fully explored it. I'm fairly certain though, it doesn't have the same playlist options as an ipod. You can assign music to playlists, but you don't get the automatic sorting of Top 25, etc. Music also automatically pops up as the first song on the player, so you'd better like that song a lot, or get ready to skip. Navigation isn't as easy as on the ipod either. The folders for music aren't as convenient, so setting it to shuffle might be easier than seeking out certain albums. Especially if you have one with a less responsive screen.

Sound quality is mediocre. It doesn't get particularly loud, with or without headphones. It's got convenient sound control buttons on the front, though, and the fact that you can use it without headphones is pretty nice. I unplug them and put it on my nightstand when I'm listening to music at home. It's not as loud as my computer, or even my cell phone, though.

I bought mine to tide me over until I had enough money put aside for an Ipod classic (I have a ton of music), and it's served it's purpose. Honestly, I think I got better sound, and better features, off of my EN-V 3, but using it as a music player was killing the battery life. This player has great battery life, and I don't have to worry about my phone dying, so it's doing it's job.

This player isn't for everyone. It's easy to figure out, and functional, making it great for casual listeners. The music fanatic, however, should go for a better system. There are better 4GB MP3 players on the market, though perhaps not for this price.

I got tis for my 16 year son for valentines day and he loves it. Thanks and it came very fast.

Every works great but I don't know if this is a glich or a programing error but some time I click on a menu or song and the screen goes black and it start up again, weird I know, but beside that it's great.

Product Review for "Touch Screen 4GB 2.8-Inch TFT MP4/MP3 Movie Music Personal Media Player"

This is a stylish product that plays MP3 music and podcasts. It has a FM radio, a picture viewer and it plays videos with support for many popular file formats. Ironically, I am completely disappointed with Pyrus Electronics and this product.

We bought our player last October. After 5 months, the player audio failed, now unable to play any stereo audio. The nature of the failure strongly suggests that there is a latent defect that will appear in many of the units over time.

I contacted Pyrus Electronics. For my failed unit, customer service turned me away, citing a 90 day warranty. They did offer to sell me another unit at a modest discount off of list price. From my perspective, I'm not happy to give Pyrus Electronics another $35 for a $45 unit that will probably fail in a matter of months. I had no idea that the 90 day warrranty meant that the product was going to be so short lived. I'm surprised that they don't want to know what went wrong with the product after so little time.

Pyrus Electronics does not publish a phone number; all support is provided by email only.

I recommend against the patronage of any company that doesn't stand behind a flawed product.
I'm hoping that the folks at Pyrus will read this review and update their customor policies.

This was a Christmas gift for my 16 year old, it could not have been a better choice. He LOVES it and so do I.
