Reizen Big LCD Display Talking Alarm Clock
This low profile, multi-functional clock announces time in a friendly female voice with a touch of a button. Measuring 1-3/4 round and accented in dark gray, only the lightest touch is required to activate voice announcement button. Another special feature of this clock is the Lock/Set button. Those who are blind or who have low vision, perhaps even those with dexterity problems, may already be familiar with the frustration of accidentally resetting a digital clocks time or alarm. With this button, you push it to Set only when you are purposely setting the clocks time or alarm. When finished, push the button to Lock and you never have to worry about accidentally changing the time or the alarm again. The clock also features a 10-minute snooze, your choice of beep, cuckoo or rooster alarm sounds, hourly voice announcements, and Hi/Lo volume sound. Clock requires two AA batteries; not included. Measures: 4-1/4 diameter and 2 high. Large LCD Display measures almost an inch tall.

Reizen Big LCD Display Talking Alarm Clock Reviews
I have really enjoyed this clock, loud enough, to be heard but not enought to be annoying...and yes you can turn off the hourly report.
Great to have around the house.
My 4-year-old granddaughter is obsessed with time. She constantly asks any available adult for the time, which gets annoying after a while. I bought the talking clock as a birthday gift for her. My thought was that it might stop her from asking the repeated time questions and she might actually learn something about time. Her birthday isn't until next week, so I don't know the answer to either of those questions.
My granddaughter loves the clock, but her parents say they want to kill me. They tell me that Jane is able to hit the button about 30 times per minute. After the clock announces the same time five or more button pushes in a row, Jane complains that it is broken because it always says the same time. Her parents patiently explain that she has to wait for some time to pass before the time will change. This concept has yet to sink in.
The first clock I received was defective. The upper half of the digatal display would not light. I returned it and received a second one that does work.
I'm not downgrading my rating for the defective product because the replacement was easy to arrange and not defective.
Although my 99 year old mother in law could not adequately push the button or hear clearly a talking watch this talking clock with a BIG button works easily and has adequate sound volume. She is very pleased with it.
