TAC DSK-BLU Illuminated Drum Sticks - Blue Reviews
This product is cheap and is not a good deal at all. the sticks broke and cracked after only a week of use.
-They get really hot in the battery area. My son (16yrs old) was excited about these and then so disappointed. This item is a piece of junk. -They light bulb goes out after using. -They only last about a day or two. Should be sold at the dollar store. Not worth $10, $20 or $25.
As a parent, its not worth the money. -You pretty much have to tape them together because they come loose. Reasons why:.
Okay, so when you strike the drum they get bright and begin to fade immediately until you strike again. They work as advertised and look REALLY cool. I typically go back to using the wooden sticks because the recoil is a bit rough on a plastic drum stick. The only little problem is the vibration they cause in your hands when you strike the drum.
it was good while it lasted(stick broke in half in middle of game). im sticking with wooden sticks from now on
I thought the lighted drum sticks were a great idea, and initially I was really happy with how they looked and how they felt - they felt nicely balanced and I liked the heavier feel than the basic wood drum sticks. Otherwise, I'm just gonna stick with the wood sticks for now. If they come out with a better set that isn't as loud, works better and is more durable, I might be willing to try it. But like others, I noticed how much louder they were than the basic sticks, how they rattled and such, and they both stopped lighting properly after only a few days of use. I sent 'em back. When Rock Band 2 came out, I ordered the ION Premium Drum Set, which has pretty solid drum pads. One of these lit-up sticks snapped in half within a couple of hours of playing on the new set. Nice idea, but poorly executed in my opinion.
