I bought this one and It worked really well. I had one similar to this and the heat in my car got to it.
The booklet indicates that Windows XP will automatically load a driver. The disc does not give a driver for Win XP. Do not waste your money. The driver does not work.
I had some old programs on floppy disks that I wanted to reinstall on a Dell 4700 computer with Windows XP. What a bargain for the price. I also read several other floppy disks with no problems whatsoever. The disk reader worked flawlessly and I was very pleased.
This particular unit is just what I needed to get the job done. As you are well aware most, if not all, new computer systems do not include a 3.5 inch disk drive anymore. All I had to do was plug it into my computer's USB port and away I went. This 3.5 inch disk drive provided me access to my data and I can now use the files that I spent hours preparing before the technology changed.

I have hundreds of 3.5 inch floppy disks with vital information on them that I need to access in my profession as a Pastor. I am not a computer savy person so I needed a fool proof system that works all the time. I recently purchased a Sabrent SBT-UFDB USB External 3.5 inch Floppy Disk Drive for my new Dell Computer.
The USB cord, though, is very, very short. Handy drive, worked great as plug 'n play.
