Saitek X52 Flight Control System Reviews
Honestly I bet I use less than 1/6 of the total programmable button and rarely have to take my hands off the joystick or throttle. That is probably due to my smaller hands but again, isn't a deal breaker for me. I love the range of motion and feel of the joystick.
It hasn't been a big issue for me, most of the time it's just a slight roll of the plane that can just get irritating. Some of the drawbacks I've found is I often have to recalibrate the joystick in flight. I don't know if there is a dirty sensor but I usually find myself recalibrating once every 3 or 4 hours or so, and it usually is only slightly off.
Good joystick, especially for flight combat simulators, I would highly recommend.
The only other problem I had would be trying to work all the buttons while using the rotating stick for rudder control. A lot, a lot of buttons, then switch the modes and 3x more, then hit the pinky button and get two times on top of that. Once in a while, maybe once every month, I'll end up with a big dead spot that is usually fixed by disconnecting my joystick or restarting the computer.
Overall, this is a great flight control system.
Got this for my husband and he loves it. Plus it costs less than the pro.
what a waste of $100. The integration constantly dropped out forcing you to recalibrate every game and often again right in the middle of play. At first I thought it was cool to not have to use the keyboard for stuff, but as it was so tempermental - I went back to the keyboard. I've used this item for 3 weeks now - programming it was straight forward and time consuming but never held the positions.
3. get it.
easy to use. easy 1,2,3:.
1. 2.
looks cool. what more do you want.
it's absolutley the perfect joystick for flight sim games and the alike. perfect for flight games.
The feel is great. There are plenty of buttons for everything you want to do, the controls work very nicely. Best stick out there. I especially love that I can turn the LEDs on/off or change how bright they are.
