Hopefully I will eventually get it, although I am beginning to have my doubts. Also the button markings are quite light, and hard to see on the glossy black plastic. I bought this monitor to replace my old tube type. I have had no problems with it, nor do I expect any with the Samsung name. I wish the menu driven controls were a little friendlier though. It takes awhile to get use to acessing the settings, but once set, you should not have to keep readjusting.
The picure is bright, and crisp. I liked it as soon as I started using it. I used the auto set button with samsungs test picture, and it did a good job in making all the necessary picture ajustments for me. I would recomend this monitor in your search of 20 inch wide screen choices. I sent in a $30 mail in rebate / but I am still waiting for the rebate check to arrive. Color seems to be vivid and right on. The styling is clean.
