I love having this much screen real estate and a high quality monitor. I got mine for $450 at Best Buy after they took 10% off the regular price on request. What a nice monitor. I use this both for work and for the occasional game. No dead pixels, huge display, full 1080p resolution, bright and vibrant display. By the way this display does swivel and tilt, but it does not have a height adjustment (you can always put it on a monitor stand or whatever.
This has wonderful color and looks great from every angle. Others color shift based on the angle, even from the same viewing point. The huge size is great and lets me run all my applications at the full 1920x1080. Most LCD's have a brightness/darkness bias that doesn't show true colors. Price is a great value for what you get.
It's 26 inch Massive display looks Brilliant and bright. It has a full 1080p HD ENERGYSTAR MONITOR. It has a piano black body with a hint of red at the bottom of the bezel. It has HDMI, USB , DVI-D, RGB, standard 2 ch. look Phenomenal.
I'm glad i made the right choice. I bought this display 5 days ago. all displays should look this SEXY. I hooked it up to my PC and Blu-Ray PS3, the movies/games/ windows vista applications. audio plug in, and a Digital Optical audio hook up.
Of Course.". It has all i need. Its true what Samsung says. CRYSTAL CLEAR.
I have to say this is up there with my new favorite LCD's in the house. As a gamer I am very happy as well. The back is rounded slightly and has a big Samsung logo on it. However, turning on a games vsync function helps remedy that problem. I get no ghosting at high speeds at all things look great. Also the connection ports have a plastic cover to hide the works so it maintains a sleek look even with wires going in. I highly recommend this monitor for this price point and this size.
I am not sure why. Outside of that everything else is flawless. I have noticed that I get screen tearing a lot more noticable on this monitor then others I have owned. The housing (screen bezel) on this monitor is stunning in design. However, if you shine a flashlight or very bright light on the montitor's frame you can see its all dark red and not black.
I will note that the 5ms time seems to be fine for my games. Looks:. Even though this is a touch of color (red) in normal lighting conditions you dont even see much of the red (only at the bottom), normally it looks almost pure black at the core of the clear coating. Considering buying another this week and using them in a dual monitor setup.
:). You can see the light refract around the edges of the thicker clear plastic and it looks really eye catching. Some games lack vsync option and for those games moving the screen around at extremely fast rate or patterns moving very fast will cause screen tearing. The Magicbright and MagicColor features really help to simplify and amaze you with color/contrast management. As an artist I can tell you I am totally happy with the look. Function:.
I am a graphic artist and avid PC gamer and so far I am loving this monitor. I wasnt sure I was going to like this whole touch of color thing but now that I own it I have no objections. I have the colors looking spot on now when I do my graphic editing. Since screen tearing can be fixed with vsync I dont knock the monitor for this.
Its an eye catcher both on and off the screen. I bought this monitor in the last week and own a few other LCD's around the house even very expensive top end sony bravia xbr's. 1920x1200 resolution on Crysis with high settings is a thing of beauty. You could easily have this on a desk where people could see the back and it would still look sharp.
It looks like a clear thick candy coating of plastic was formed around the monitors frame. The rear of the monitor looks as good as the front.
i have played 1080p videos and the quality is excellent. overall, a monitor that will boost your productivity because it's so big it looks sexy too. the only thing is that there's no mounting holes and the back has this flimsy panel cover to hide all your wires. I don't do serious photo editing and can't really tell apart from true/natural colors, but for me it doesn't matter. the viewing angle is pretty good if you keep the monitor somewhat at eye level. in addition, it doesn't tilt THAT much, and it does swivel. this monitor is so crisp - it displays everything nicely. no dead pixels.
you can adjust brightness/contrast/color settings on your own or use their MagicBright presets for text, internet, gaming etc. the blacks are really black and the whites are white, probably since it has that 20,000:1 DC ratio. there's really not any ghosting involved with movies, but i have yet to try video games.
