not even a minute after opening the package the thing came apart in 3 pieces, i was able to put it back together and now have to be super careful with it. It also get extremely hot only after being plugged into the usb for a few seconds, looking to get a different kind should have known better when it only cost 3 bucks
This little thing is just great. Does exactly what I got it for. I transfer songs from my computer to my phone or vice versa, then I use my phone's microSD card in the USB adapter in my car's USB MP3 player.
Needed a simple and functional reader for my MicroSDHC card, and this was the winner. It has worked flawlessly for over a year now.
Plug and play - fast transfer rates. I have used 2, 4, and 8gb MicroSDHC cards with this. Zero problems ever. Has loaded without a hiccup on every PC and Mac I've used.
Highly recommend picking one up if you're in need as I was.
VERY DISAPPOINTING! in that these arrived without the lanyard and keyring clip. All you get is a little brown envelope and the device with no way to secure it to something. The original pictures and some reviews talked about there being a lanyard but that is not what it came with.
These are so small you have to have something to tie them to otherwise you will easily lose them. Nothing like losing a $40 memory card because the device fell out of your pocket.
I bought two... most likely sending them back.
I've used these items, purchased from other vendors, in the past. The adapters seem to have a short lifespan of about 6 months. Also, beware that they need to be handled gently upon insertion and removal, as the front end plastic cracks easily. I'm also very disappointed in this particular vendor. Although the price is astonishingly low, contrary to the photographs, I received these WITHOUT THE KEYCHAIN ring and cord! Without those items, these units are useless.
