SanDisk Sansa m250 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) Reviews
I owned the 512mb version of this mp3 for several years and loved it and decided to get one with more memory. This one is just as easy to use but when I turn it on it takes a few seconds longer to power on than my old one. It also is a bit slower moving through songs. Some of the songs don't sound crystal clear when playing but I don't know if that's because of the source file, the mp3 player or my headphones (I'm using my own)although I never had this problem with my other mp3 player. These concerns aren't enough to make me dislike the player though -- it's portable, runs on disposable batteries and has a fm radio and for $30, you can't go wrong.
I bought this player because it runs off a AAA battery in off-the-grid situations. The battery life this player gets out of a AAA is amazing, highly recommended for these kind of situations.
I bought this one to replace the iRiver T10 that mysteriously stopped working last week. It was okay, but I sent it back the next day because I couldn't turn the sound down low enough. It went from sort-of loud to mute with one click. Not what I wanted. Looked easy to use, which is good because the instruction manual is at the "see spot run" level. Never could figure out how to store FM presets.
This MP3 rocks my son put it throught the washer and dryer 3 times before it died. I totally recomened it.
Overall I like this player. Easy to load files onto it. Takes a while to format the play list. The major drawback is that the instructions say 1 "AAA" size battery gets about 19 hours of playtime - NOT! I'm lucky to get a maximum of 8 hours of use from 1 "AAA" Size Alkaline battery using the FM radio, turning off the back lighting and keeping the volume 1/2 or less. Most of the time I only get +4 hours of playtime playing a mix of MP3 & WMA files. Will have to try either Lithium "AAA" batteries or NiMH rechargeables.
