Don't waste your money, buy something else. The fake wood split as I put in a screw following the directions. Already put in the trash. Just threw my money away on this bad product. Junk. And the packaging is not friendly to return the item. You get what you pay for and I should have saved my money.
These speaker stands were among the cheapest I found. This is a minor flaw and is not very noticeable unless in certain lighting/placement conditions. My only criticisms is that the plastic snap-on back panels do not fully cover length of stand, letting light shine through the small gap in front where the two angled panels meet. The speakers fit almost perfectly, although they are tall and easily able to be knocked off the stand. Before you purchase, make sure to measure out the height of the stands as well as the size of the platform that holds the speaker the picture makes the stands seem taller than they are. The material is fairly light but sturdy, and the stands were easy to put together. I am using them to hold the front left and right speakers from an Onyko 7.1 speaker set.
It doesn't push through in my carpet which is fairly standard carpeting. I believe it also came with rubber stoppers to stick to each corner of the bottom of the speaker to add stability to the speaker too. The base is weighted so there is no swaying. I don't use them and still have great stability for my heavy front Onkyo speakers. The only complaint I have is the stubs the product comes with for "added" stability. I have tall Onkyo speakers out of a package and is very heavy. Great product. This product holds that product up very well.
good product, they go well with my black NHT SB-3's. They come very well wrapped in protecctive packaging with an instruction manual that is decent. The only problem I had was lining up the holes - I missed the first time on one of the legs and it cracked a little so be careful on that.
No problems there. They were easy to set up. The look is plain, and match the black matte on the speakers, which is what I was going for. I bought these stands for about 40% off advertised price through Amazon. They support my Klipsch SB-3's without a problem.
